Roobi is a technology company, but more importantly, we are passionate about problem solving. The S01 project started with understanding the fundamental pet nail clipping problem experienced by many pet owners, and setting out to solve it with technology and innovation.


Pet nail clipping is a scary task for most people and animals. At RoobiLABS, weunderstood this problem to be fundamentally about how people and their pets experience that task…with their eyes, ears, and even hands, fingers (and paws).  So, the team set out to develop a pet nail clipper that effectively addressed our collective fears around what we saw, heard, and felt while cutting our pet’s nails. Our solution to that problem is the S01 Pet Nail Clipper.


We could have simply produced a better version of the many ineffective products currently on the market, but we decided to go in a completely different direction and push the envelope of innovation and creativity to create something special, that delivered on the promise of safety and functionality. The team spent months, thinking and rethinking and discussing the “site, sound, touch” experience on both sides of the leash. The S01 Pet Nail Clipper is an achievement of problem solving and collaboration, as much as it is a solution that leverages technology to address the fear, anxiety and danger associated with pet nail clipping.
